Jindřich Čížek, nar. 1987, je hudební skladatel žijící v Praze. Skladbu vystudoval na Konzervatoři Jaroslava Ježka a je autorem hudby k více než 50 divadelním inscenacím v Čechách i v zahraničí, spoluzakládal oceňovanou progresivní divadelní skupinu Lachende Bestien. Za hudbu k incenaci Peer Gynt (2023) a Vojcek -jednorozměrný člověk (2024) byl nomimován na Cenu divadelní kritiky. Kromě divadla komponuje i hudbu pro film, filmy Martina Máje a Alexandry Hetmerové s Čížkovou hudbou přivezly celou řadu ocenění z festivalů po celém světě. Mimo skládání hudby působí též jako herec, hraje v kapele Kašpárek v rohlíku a věnuje se zvukovému designu.

Jindřich Čížek, born 1987, is a music composer living in Prague. He studied composition at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and is the author of music for more than 50 theater productions in the Czech Republic and abroad, co-founded the award-winning progressive theater group Lachende Bestien. He was nominated for the Theater Critics Award for the music for the production of Peer Gynt (2023) and Vojcek (2024). In addition to the theater, he also composes music for film. Martin Máj and Alexandra Hetmerová's films with Čížek's music have won numerous awards from festivals around the world. Apart from composing music, he also works as an actor, plays in the band Kašpárek v rohlíku and works in sound design.
